ABOUT

Hi, I'm Amanda. I'm the human behind this business.

I'm the chief indulgence officer, repair technician, PR manager, janitor, customer service specialist, content creator, cashier, marketing coordinator, waffle cone maker, ice cream cake decorator, etc. while also being a friend, sister, partner, auntie, bestie, mentor, coach, ambassador, board member, and all-around community activist. Oh! And I have two other businesses!

I was born and raised in North Syracuse and unexpectedly found myself back home in 2015. Even more unexpected was the opportunity to start an ice cream business. In three short months, I debuted my creation and have loved expanding and evolving the vision ever since. One thing has been a constant: The Ice Cream Stand has a spirit, a pulse, an energy. I think it's what people see and feel long before they try our ice cream, and I think it's what sticks with folks long after they leave.

In addition to ice cream, I created November Project Syracuse, a local community group offering free fitness workouts every Wednesday morning, in 2018. In 2020, I launched Jayne's Collective. The collective is focused on personal and professional growth through connection, conversation, and community. We're open to all but have a special focus on womxn. My latest creation, Cream & Coffee, is scheduled to open in Skaneateles, NY late summer 2024. As the name suggests, this cafe will prominently feature two of my favorite things plus additional menu items with locally sourced ingredients, of course!

Connection and community are clearly at my core! It's such a joy to treat people, and I invite you to connect with us soon to treat yourself and those you love!

Indulge always,

Amanda
